@ Cook County Health & Hospital System/Hektoen Institute of Medicine

Explore the links for more information about our institution, research networks and funders. Our research studies are coordinated by the CORE Center/Stroger Hospital Research Department, are funded by the National Institutes of Health, and in particular by the Adolescent Trials Network (ATN) and the HIV Prevention Trials Network (HPTN). We also provide preventive and primary care services for adolescents and young adults, such as health education and counseling, testing and/or treatment for pregnancy, HIV/STIs, vaccinations for Hepatitis A/B and HPV, and preventive prescriptions for birth control and HIV, as well as condoms and lubricant.
